RaceChip Released for the All New Kia Tasman

The wait is over. The RaceChip tuning module for the new Kia Tasman has officially landed in Australia, and Harding Performance was proud to lead the local development program in direct collaboration with RaceChip Germany.

This was not a copy and paste calibration. This was real world Australian validation, developed on our dyno and tested on the roads around Brisbane.

Why the Tasman Needed Local Development

The Kia Tasman is more than just another dual cab. It marks Kia’s first serious push into the highly competitive Australian ute market, built specifically with markets like ours in mind.

The platform was initially launched in South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, with no European release program in place. That meant there was no existing European tuning data to rely on. As a result, full development had to be carried out locally under Australian conditions.

We mapped, logged, heat soaked and repeated. Over and over.

The outcome is a calibration that delivers real performance gains without compromising reliability, drivability or factory safety strategies.

Plug and Play Installation

Like all RaceChip modules, the Tasman kit is designed for simplicity:

  • Fully plug and play
  • No permanent modification
  • Easily removable

Installation takes around 30 minutes and the vehicle can be returned to stock at any time.

The Bottom Line

If you own a new Kia Tasman and want more torque, sharper response and stronger real world performance, the RaceChip module is the cleanest solution available.
